I was a normal guy living a good life and working in Atlanta, Ga., when I had a massive stroke. Was in a medically induced coma for several months and was given only 48 hrs. to live. Had a near death experience where I saw the "white light" and all, and didn't want to return here. Have gone from bedbound, to wheelchair, to walker, to cane and am now walking unassisted. Still am weaker on my left side. My love is going to the gym and excerising nearly every day. Love to still hit tennis although am not the athlete I once was but have learned, "Life doesn't end just because you become disabled."
